Kinsey Kistler, LPN, Full-Spectrum Doula, CEO
Kinsey has said since she was a little girl that she wanted to grow up and raise thousands of babies! She wasn’t sure how- until she was working as a pediatric wellness nurse, witnessing the gap in meaningful care for new parents and babies. She sat down and started to write a business plan, and as she does with most things, immediately called her cousin and ultimate “yaaas” woman, Kati. Long story long here we are! Kinsey has a long diverse working background in everything from disaster response to being a former pizza professional! Kinsey has 20 years of infant and child care experience, 6 years as a pediatric nurse, and 20+ years of being dedicated to helping parents raise their babies under her belt.
As a Doula Kinsey has a special interest in families with multiple births, births after losses, and parents with postpartum mood concerns.
Kinsey lives in Clintonville with her Husband Andy and their dog Taco and cat Mags. She grew up in Dublin, graduating from Dublin Coffman High School as well as the Mosaic program. After high school she spent two years in service to our country through the AmeriCorps programs before attending the Columbus School of Practical Nursing. In nursing school Kinsey was secretary of, and graduated at the top of her class. She is trained in Postpartum by CAPPA and in Births by DONA. Most recently she has completed her CLC with The Healthy Children’s Project. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors with her husband and dog, a cold beer and live music!
